Question: Where is the air going from my heater?

The fan is working fine.The controls appear to be working ,But the air is not coming out of any of the vents.

    Maybe the cabin air filter is clogged?

    I removed the cabin air filter a long time ago.

    The main vents may be closed. If they work on a vacuum system check to see if any breaks in the lines. If electrical check fuses and switch. If there is no flow a vent is probably shut somewhere if filter is not clogged.

    I have watched everything move while i turn the knobs.It is all mechanical(cable) & electrical.Seriously,anyone actually have this problem before ,in this vehicle?I can SWAG all day long,but i need answers.

    The one vent you probably didn't check (and don't want to check trust me!) is the blender vent. If it is bad you have to take dash off to get to it. Not a fun job and takes a long time. I don't know for sure if it can block the whole system like you are describing or not.

    I finally figured it out.The air has to go thru the evaporator to get to the heater core & the evap has a solid layer of lint after 300,000 miles.so just as much fun to clean it as what you are talking about.Suck out the freon & take the dash apart.The system comes apart in sections.So i have to remove the blower half with the evaporator & blow out the evaporator.
