1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera Question: where is the air control valve located

Rookie

car will start ok, after it runs for awhile,it will start to spudder and shuts off, it will start but when you put it in gear it shuts off, after you let it set for awhile it will go and then the same thing happens again.

Master

I presume you mean the 'idle air control valve'(also known as an IAC valve). it's in the throttle body assembly.Some require special 'learning procedures' after replacement.
