when turning right strange sort of rubbing noise can be heard comming from front on 2006 Audi A4 Quattro

whatever noise is it is not a mot fail as it has just been done no loose parts found.

I would look at the inner fender liners. If the belly pan is missing or just missing some of the hardware the liners will rub the tire when turning. If the steering fluid is low or aeriated you will have a groaning noie when turning in both directions. Find where the leak is and only use the proper mineral oil CH11S. Petroleum based steering fluid will deteriorate the hoses.

Was in fact the centre wheel bolt had somehow worked loose replaced with new every thing now ok

if all wheel drive, it could be cv joint. could also be a failing steering pump.

Late reply but noise has improved by adding extra power steering fluid to system.
