Have you check your oil level? Maybe it's too low.

Pilot or throwout bearing may be bad. Our BMW shop is in Vallejo if you want it looked at. (707)643-7548 is the number to Milt's Service Garage. Good luck.

Thank you Hal for your quick reply & I also suspected the throw-out bearing but wasn't sure...
    on a 2008 328I coupe...what ball park figure am I looking at?

I also looked at both your websites & you most likely have just won a new customer. I visit my parents in concord at lot...so possibly the Dublin shop might be closer...

I will definitely get in touch.

    thank you

We live the Mt Diablo area. Adrian takes vehicles up to the Vallejo shop and returns them when completed for convenience. A clutch job on RWD model is around $1,100.00 for a LUK kit and the labor. Just call the shop and talk with Adrian, I already brought him up to speed.

No charge to listen to the problem you're experiencing. Both shops service/reset service reminders or other warning lights. Our shops are in Vallejo and Dublin. Just call ahead to make an appointment.

I will most likely stop by next Friday when I am in concord...you did say that I can have it looked at no charge ? to make sure that is the problem??

Also, are routine servicing also handled in your shop...including resetting the dash indicator after work is completed?

    Thanks again
