This started after I had the brake switch replaced. Gear shift was locking in park position. The ka-chung sounds almost like the horn is trying to honk. Thank you.

Mastertry turning the motor by hand to verify it can turn.
have you checked the fluids?? it sounds like a starter but you need to verify the motor can turn

Silverlox, September 03, 2012, 12:41ReplyRookieI have my car serviced on a regular basis at the Honda dealer. As I am an older woman I have to depend on them to take care of problems. Sounds like I best take it in and have it checked out. I do tend to agree that it is a starter problem as it tried to lock up yesterday along with the noise. Thank you for your reply.
