when should radiator hose's be replaced? and if all replaced how much? on 2006 Jaguar X-Type

my jag just turned 30000 miles i was told all the coolent hoses have to be replaced the car just turned 3 years old. i was quoted 2,2oo dollers i have looked at them my self they are flexable shinny and look and feel like brand new how should i know if they really need replacement or if i'am being ripped off// thanks so much

your being ripped off,the top and bottom hose replacement is expensive but all the hoses including the heater hoses sould cost no more the $750 at least thats what i would charge.

Why do you need to replace the hoses at 30,000 miles? I see no reason unless there are physical signs of failure or deterioration. Mileage is not typically an issue with hoses, it's more age and environment. I just went through the maintenance guide for the X-Type and see no mention of hose replacement. Get a second opinion before shelling out that money.

I BELIEVE IN ONLY REPLACEING ONES THAT SHOW SIGNS OF LEAKING. THERE ARE DIFFERNT PLACES TO GET HOSES FROM SUPPLIERS. MAKE SURE CHEAK OTHER SHOPS
