7 years, 105,000 miles is the interval to follow for a 2008 V6. Whichever comes first.

Thank you Dave. My mechanic was telling me that I should look into changin it because it is over 70K. He did, to be fair, say to check my manuel. The mauel is a little confusing because it says that it should be changed at 70K if one of the following applies: 1) if you drive under temperature conditions of 100 degrees to 110 degrees on a regular basis. 2) if you drive under temperature conditions of -10 degrees to -20 degrees on a regular basis. 3) under extremely dusty conditions. None of these apply to me. I live in the Metro N.Y. area and never drive when the temp is under #1, #2 or #3 on a regular basis. Thank God! So you feel I am ok until 105K? Thanks for you time.

In NYC and eastern states, but not Canada, the timing belt can easily last 200,000 miles.
