If your car passes the jounce test i.e. pushing down and letting up on each corner of car to see how many times the car bounces. one bounce, car struts ok as long as none show leakage. two bounces, struts are worn and are allowing too much movement. I have a Toyota Corolla with 102,xxx miles with original struts. It's a 07' so I feel they'll need replacement as soon as ride quality degrades which I will notice just from going over bumps and dips in the road.
