when it rains it leaves big puddles of water on my floor board on 1996 Chrysler Sebring

I took it two the shop they told me it was drain plugs that were clogged and that they would charge me $70-80.00 to fix it.I was wondering weather I could fix it myself and save some cash.Trying to find out where the things are located and how I could fix it myself. ???

After doing a search I cant find a location for any drains. What you need to do is locate the source of the leak. Something you could try is using your garden hose. have someone spray the car while you sit in it. Hopefully you will see water start coming in somewhere. Once you see it you may have to remove some trim pieces to get a better look. Then you just have to trace it until you find the source of the leak. if it ends up at a drain, shop air would be the best to try to clean it out. If you do not have this available to you, try something that will get in there. Be careful so you dont scratch the paint. if it seems to be coming through any rubber type gasket, you may have to replace the gasket. Like around the windshield for instance.

On my Chrysler Sebring Convertible, the drain holes are located under the running boards. Remove the screws and clean the tracks and replace the boards. If you park out side try not to park under trees, which is often to problem for clogged drain holes.
