you guys are just like everybody else. - my truck DOES NOT have front end shocks - they're struts!!! and I am in a furious fight with my extended warranty provider over just that. they claim to cover struts, but MY struts are considered shocks - what? shocks are not covered - how convienant.

You have coil-over shocks. They are different from struts. You have a control arm front suspension with shocks that are assisted by springs. With "Strut" suspension, a front end is basically completely made up of the strut assembly.
