2002 Hyundai Elantra Question: when I was driving home I noticed my car was swerving to the left occassionally.

then when I turned to my street I heard a loud pop and could not drive the car because the left wheel had broken off the car. When I looked at it the limb that attaches to the wheel from the car had broken in half.Is this the knuckle suspension and how much well it cost to repair.

    IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT A BALL JOINT ITS FAIRLY CHEAP.ALTHOUGH IT COULD BE OTHER THINGS ALSO LIKE SPINDLE AND HUB BEARING

    Which 'limb' broke? The thick one going to the center of the wheel (half-shaft) the skinny longer one with a small pin set ball joint at the end (tie-rod) or one of the ball-joints connected to the steering knuckle?
