2002 Hyundai Elantra Q&A
2002 Hyundai Elantra Question: when I was driving home I noticed my car was swerving to the left occassionally.
then when I turned to my street I heard a loud pop and could not drive the car because the left wheel had broken off the car. When I looked at it the limb that attaches to the wheel from the car had broken in half.Is this the knuckle suspension and how much well it cost to repair. - jfriss
IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT A BALL JOINT ITS FAIRLY CHEAP.ALTHOUGH IT COULD BE OTHER THINGS ALSO LIKE SPINDLE AND HUB BEARING - globalhelper
Which 'limb' broke? The thick one going to the center of the wheel (half-shaft) the skinny longer one with a small pin set ball joint at the end (tie-rod) or one of the ball-joints connected to the steering knuckle? - csubak30
