Question: when I stop at intersection oil pressure drops significantly

oilp pressure will drop and engine starts to heat up......no apparent oil or coolant leaks......any suggestions

    Is the oil level low? If the oil pan shows signs of damage perhaps the oil pick up in the oil pan is damaged and the engine oil pump "draws air". Have the oil pressure verified with a "know god" mechanical oil pressure gauge. If the engine has lubrication problems it's life will be greatly reduced.
