    The flow into the tank is restricted somehow causing the fuel to back up too quick and shut off pump. Did you have tank removed recently? Like maybe for a fuel pump repair? They may have caused the problem if tank was removed and then reinstalled. Or you have a problem with the filler tube and should be looked at ASAP.
