Do you have any suggestions for vehicle storage that would keep the battery from going dead besides pulling the back seat out and disconnecting the battery

More than 3 weeks is a pretty long time. You could wire in a main battery power cut off that was accessible with out lifting up your rear seat. Most good shops could handle this.

the battery is located in the trunk on the passenger side near the spare tire. you can access it from there. there is a battery cut off switch for long term storage located in the passenger side trunk compartment access door. once you do this you will need to open the trunk with the key that slides out of your FOB.

Thanks for the suggestion, I already knew about the cut off switch but was looking for something a little more. I found a Battery Tender that should keep the battery up for about $40.00. It worked fine for the month we left it. You just need AC power to run the Battery Tender. They make a waterproof versoin and an indoor version.
