2003 Chevrolet Malibu Question: when I insert the key in the ignition it will not turn, tried moving the wheels

I tried tapping the key, and WD-40,still could not turn the key?

    I you are using the right key and wiggling/giggling the key while trying to turn it dont work, the lock cylinder is most likely your problem. Check with a locksmith for repair first as this is an anti theft system and diy is not recommended!

    Agree with PR, you'll probably need an experienced hand with this. Some will think they will have to drill the tumblers out to remove the old lock cylinder. That is not necessary and someone who knows how the lock cylinder actually works will know right where to access the locking bar that isn't retracting into the cylinder and allowing it to turn.

    try another key 1st the old one maybe worn
