There is not a factory recommended interval for replacing a timing chain. If you stick to the factory recommended service and inspection, you will generally experience minimal problems with this vehicle.
You shouldn't have to change the timing chains. They are self adjusting. Don't normally wear out before the engine. The V-6 engine has 3 timing chains I believe. Then there is another "timing type" chain going to the oil pump. Pretty neat setup!
