WHEN I PUT MY CAR IN REVERSE I HEAR A CLICKING SOUND & A FEEL A JERK.

    If the idle speed is too high the transmission will engage reverse or drive with a "bang" which is not good for the transmission. A bad engine mount can also cause putting the car into gear to cause a clunk. or jerk.
