2000 Honda Accord Q&A

2000 Honda Accord Question: WHEN CAR IS IN REVERSE

WHEN I PUT MY CAR IN REVERSE I HEAR A CLICKING SOUND & A FEEL A JERK. THANKS -
Answer 1
If the idle speed is too high the transmission will engage reverse or drive with a "bang" which is not good for the transmission. A bad engine mount can also cause putting the car into gear to cause a clunk. or jerk. -
