I had my starter replaced and the shop could not figure out why car cut off when it was on and sitting. Called lexus they said the computer has to be reset. I drove alot of miles at 60 - 80 miles a hour. How do I reset computer is it a plug or button I can push?

They may have already disconnected the battery doing the starter. It would be best to scan it with a techstream or master tech to see what is going on.We have both tools give us a call and we can check it for you.

remove the negative cable for 30 seconds and re install. that clears the adaptive memories. the car will have to be driven for about 50 miles to learn how to run right again or learn to idle correctly. Roy
