wheel bearings may be going out on 1999 Dodge Durango

what should i look for if i think my wheel bearings are going out?

Jack up the front wheels grab the top and bottom of the wheel and then grab the wheel at three and nine o'clock if you can feel excess play the wheel bearing may be bad. A bad wheel bearing usually makes noise when "loaded "on a turn, going into a turn when the weight of the truck is transferred from one side to the other you will hear a growling sound.

keep in mind that these durangos have had numerous recalls due to bad ball joints, some of wich have caused problems to the lower control arms
