wheel bearing can I drive car with noisey wheel bearing on 2004 Mercury Mountaineer

Just noticed noise in whel bearing and would like to wait due to economics before I hace repaired

Catastrophic failure possible? Yes? Likely? No.........YOUR LIFE , in list of priorities? ANY noise is somewhat a matter of perception, so for any of us to answer your question with a , sure , don't worry , would be careless (MY OPINION). Without seeing/hearing it first hand , couldn't make a judgement call. Many reasons for a bearing to be noisy , also lots of tire noises can be mis-interpreted as bearing noise. Maybe you might want to have it checked?........by someone in person............Happy? holidays?

Thanks, I had it checked he said "probably" no problem for some additional miles. I will have it fixed before I drive.
