accelerator was pulsating,slow to accelerate, trans. warning light was blinking

    It probably wasn't the accelerator pedal that was pulsing it was probably the engine that was surging (RPM raising and lowering). It really could be so many things it is hard to guess without being able to experience the problem first hand or at least do some diagnostic tests. Is the Check Engine Light on? If so codes stored in the computer need to be retrieved.The first thing you need to do is check the engine oil level, transmission fluid level and coolant level (low coolant level can cause the engine to surge.
