code p1886 gives a Definition 3-2 shift solenoid valve assembly circuit electrical fault.
Explanation The ecm has detected an open or short to ground in the 3-2 ss valve assembly.
probable cause 1.-Open or short circuit condition.
2.-poor electrical connection.

    Are there any other codes or symptoms? Does the code come back after computer memory reset? The 3-2 solenoid is not a high failure part on this vehicle. The transmission could loose power intermittently many times we find an ignition switch or a connection issue causing this code to set. The vehicle should be diagnosed further to determine the cause before parts are replaced. Kern

    Thank you very much for your answer.What do you charge to get a diagnostic done and if it turns out to be a ignition problem what would be the estmated cost.And if goes the other way an the solenoid is the problem then what is the estimated cost? And what is the estimated time for repairs ect...
