Question: What would need to be replaced if I have a blocked vacuum hose around the IMRC?

The guy at autozone said it seems there is a blocked vacuum hose. The code says IMRC is stuck open -- probable cause is Short circuit, damage to the IMRC, or blocked vacuum hose. The check engine light is staying on.

    COULD BE THE IMRC IS LEAKING ITSELF OR YOUR VAC SOURCE IS LEAKING.SEE YOUR MECH AND HAVE THEM DO A SMOKE TEST THAT WLL SHOW THE PROBLEM.

    Do you have a workshop manual or test procedures for your car?There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect....
