it doesn't happen all the time but when it does it starts right back up. also sometimes it does it before i put it into gear. does it in all gears. Now the oil hose from the external filter to the motor leaks so it loses pressure as the motor gets to operating temp. and it probably needs a fuel filter. and/ or spark plugs, wires, cap, and coil.

The fuel filter and rest of tune related components should be changed at certain mileage intervals and not just when you suspect a running problem. You may fix your problem when you do but that means you waited entirely too long before doing the required maintenance. If the fuel filter is old enough and clogged enough then fuel delivery to your TBI will be effected. You can also burn up the fuel pump in the tank by making it work too hard to push fuel through thhe filter. Your fuel pressure and volume will be effected and may be the problem at this moment. CEL on? Get the oil hose fixed asap. Gotta have oil to lubricate important engine bearings. Kind of like blood in your body.
ok thanks i got it from my grandpa a couple of months ago. i know as soon as i get soon money to have somebody do it. it will get done. the line fitting is rusted fast. and i know i need to get the oil hose done but i can;t do it myself. dont have the tools.
