I am having a problem with my truck, it will start and be fine sometimes but then at times the blinkers will stop working and the truck just won't start sometimes? What could cause both of these problems?

I'm not so certain that these concerns are related. I am having trouble finding a link. However, I can tell you that the lighting is centralized through a module (the GEM I believe), and besides that, the multifunction switch could have an issue intermittently.

The no start- does it crank or is it totally dead? Lights or no lights if it's dead? What is the THEFT light doing during the no start?

These particular models have a problem with the coloumn shift. When you keep moving the shift on the steering, wires are pulled from the harness on the top of the coloumn on the turn signal switch.
