Question: What would cause a high pitched squeal when starting (cold start)

The squeal lasts @ 30 - 60 seconds.

    loose fan belt. it is loose and when it heats up, it shrinks and stops the noise.

    On my car I needed new belts.Now for my neibors jag he sprayed some {belt Dressing} on it and it,and the sqeeking is gone.
