what would cause a false code 33 MAP sensor reading? I have replaced it. on 1990 Chevrolet Camaro

I have replaced the cat. conv. and car ran great for a day, then I completely cleaned the throttle body and again it ran great for a day. I replaced the MAP sensor due to a 33 code and nothing. The car tries to start but dies, applying gas makes starting even harder. When it does start it runs very rough and dies almost immediately.

Need to know how much fuel pressure it has. Test it, get it tested or whatever but that is what we need to know first!

Call Milt's Service Garage in Vallejo (707)643-7548 to have the diagnosis completed. Just because you have a code does not mean the sensor is bad. Check wiring, check connections, pin the computer. Have the car put on a dyno to check air fuel ratio...
