Question: what would be sounding like bearings going out around the fan belt?

 Rookie

sounds started at first start up this morning. The sounds are intermittent while engine is running in idle warm-up.

    it could be the water pump, the alternator, or any of the pulleys of the belt system. removed the belt and roll each pulley one at a time until you herar the noisy one or feel the rough one.
