I need to change my timing belt. I am told I will need to change my water pump as well. What will this cost?

The water pump is recommended even if not leaking since there is so much labor to get to it, look at the estimator link at repairpal home page for estimate for your area.

This is a really bog job, I have done a few and it costs about $1250, with a new water pump and new tensioners etc. You really want to do the water pump because it only adds a few minutes of time and will surely go out before the next belt is due, which basically doubles your costs for the same job.
