Question: what type of wheel bearings do i have

i want to replace the front wheel bearings in my car. i hear that if i have a the one that need a special tool than i cant replacve them myself now what that soecial tool is i do not know the info that i have found on it is that it has 3 torque bolts and thats it and that it isnt fun. i want to do it my self but i here that i may not be able to.so what im askn is can i do it and what tools beside a set of torque bits and other basic tool.if i could get that would be very greatful

    You can do this. There are no truly special tools required except for a torque wrench. You can buy one and still come out way ahead on labor cost and now have your own torque wrench. Here's the procedure : http://www.ehow.com/how_7847844_replace-hub-bearing-assem...

    this will be the first set of wheel bearings that I have done I just dont want to get in there and start taking it apart and found out that I cant do this and have to tow it to a shop cause I want to a few shops and they all said that they could give me a price to fix it cause they said it could be the special kind of bearings. like I said I look up wheel bearing for that car and the only thing that came up was the type with the torque wrench's. ok my next question for you is . can you tell me all the tools I will need for this job and how many foot pounds of torgue the torgue bolts will need and is there any other advice you would give to on this kind of job. thanx for your reply

    ok thanx I see It one more thing im not totally sure of what every part looks like that is explain so do I need to get a manuel on it or is it gonna be one of those things I have to pay attention to detail which already do now im jut sayn
