My information says it takes 5 quarts during trans service. Your transmission has a dip stick with marks on it for min/max cold and when warmed up. Is it Dexron fluid that was put in the transmission? Perhaps the fluid is incorrect. If the wrong fluid was put in remove the oil pan and refill with the correct fluid.
