my abs light comes on but i got my brakes fixed how can it get turned off for good

    You have a problem with your ABS system and the code needs to be pulled, diagnosed and repaired. The ABS is the computer enhanced side of your brake system, so a regular brake job may do nothing to resolve and ABS issue. By the way, the shop should have told you this, but may be they did not even know.

    The speed sensor in the differential is bad. Not expensive and one bolt holds it in. It is on top of the diff.
