1997 Jeep Wrangler Question: What should be changed when timing belt jumped?

 Rookie

Ran hot and changed out radiator then about a week later left me on the side of road. Mechanic says water pump is good,he is saying jumped time, but vales are not bent? What should I ask to make sure I'm not getting ripped off. Please help I'm new to this area and I don't know anyone that can advise me of a good place.

    This vehicle has a timing CHAIN on both the 4&6 cylinder engines, no timing BELT!! Unuasual for these engines to have timing componet problems, but possible! Who told you it has a timing BELT, or is that just your assumption?

    what motor do you have? how many miles on car? yes repl water pump at the same time always a good idea
