The dash lights, and gauges stop almost every time I restart my truck. I need to know what part causes this, how much is the part, and how do I remove the old part and install the new one.

Many times it is the dash cluster is the fault..but not sure in your case. Symtom of a bad dash cluster is it stops working altogether not only when start engine. You may want to have battery tested first. Low voltage when cranking engine can cause weird faults in any modules in the truck. Computers go nuts if voltage drops below 8 volts...this could happen when starter is pulling voltage down with a weak battery.
