    Mopar makes a synthetic rear differential gear lube and that is the 1 I always use and recommend. It will increase the life of your rear diff and front diff if you have 4wd.

    GL-5* GL-5 Gear Oil for Limited-Slip Differentials
    Cadillac: Rear Differential XLR, part no. 12378261 or equivalent meeting Spec. 9986115
    plus 4 oz. Additive part no. 1052358, Spec. 9035-P.
    DaimlerChrysler ex. Mercedes-Benz: Use the following as noted: SAE 75W-90, Part
    No. 05010320AA meeting MS-9763; SAE 80W-90, Part No. 04874468 meeting MS-
    9020; SAE 90, Part No. 04874466 meeting MS-8987; or Synthetic SAE 75W-140, Part
    No. 04874469 meeting MS-8985. All axles require 6.5% additive, Part No. 04318060AB
    meeting MS-10111
    Ford, Lincoln, Mazda Trucks, Mercury: Use the following in front axles as noted:
    SAE 75W-140, Part Number XY-75W140-QL plus specified quantity
    of additive. Others use the following as noted: SAE 80W-90, Part No. XY-80W90-QL,
    Spec. WSP-M2C197-A plus specified quantity of additive; or Synthetic SAE 75W-140,
    Part No. XY-75W140-QL, Spec. WSL-M2C192-A plus specified quantity of additive; or
