Question: What is the repair cost to have gas tank replaced? Can only fill car 1/2 tank

 Rookie

was told that fuel tank flaps are broken and whole tank to be replaced. Also now fuel indicator malfunctioning.

    I have not heard of baffles breaking off in a tank... and I don't see why you can only fill to half a tank... I have a sending unit going bad in my tank and registers empty when half full... something to consider..d
