What is the process to replace a drive link? on 2001 Mercedes-Benz SLK230

MBZ dealer put that down on my list of repairs. How do I know it really needs it.

the drive links are rubber donut type U-joints which wear out after a time. You could get him to hoist the car and show it to you. You can see the cracks or damage visually. You don't want to have one of these break, it can get hairy if you're going fast. For another opinion, if you want it, here's a directory link for you: https://repairpal.com/directory?address=92386&car_brand_names=Mercedes-Benz
