The noise comes on and will shut off intermittently while the vehicle is running. It sounds like a fan. It is coming from underneath the vehicle in the rear on the driver's side. It appears that the noise is coming from a square looking device.

Is not an adjustable rear suspension and the comressor turnes on??
If there is a leak there the compressor comes on more often.

Thank you for your reply. I am guessing this is something that should be looked at by a professional mechanic correct? Is there a specific area where the leak would be occurring from?

You have an air leak in the load level system for the rear. That's why the pump runs all the time.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if this is something that could cause additional damage to the vehicle? I'm assuming this is something that needs to be looked at by a professional mechanic?

It's really not a complicated as you think. You can purchase a whole year of any info for your vehicle for $26.95. This info is the same professional shops pay for. A repair shop pays alot more than $26.95 for a year, but than it's info for any vehicle out there. It's very user friendly.
It will provide you with a diagnostic chart to diagnose your problem.
