The front end sounds as if something is loose like the bushings or wheel bearings are worn.

Bushings are a possibility. Wheel bearing make a grinding roar of a noise not a clunk. Other poss. are a stabilizer link has worn out or tie rod end or ball joint has failed. Have someone bounce the vechicle up and down and see if you can replicate the sound and then locate it and replace part.

If it is a rapid knocking as your turn it could be a cv joint. If it is a one time clunk each time you turn it could be any number of worn joints, bushings, strut bearing. A free test drive and visual inspection will usually find the problem.
