What is the cost of repair emerency break since we was quoteded by the dealer ~$650 to replace pads and roters?

    You have parking brake shoes underneath the pads and rotors you see through the wheels. I would be curious to know how you wore out a set of shoes that do nothing but hold the car when parked. If you really need them: The total job to replace pads, rotors and new parking brake shoes and about $650. Just don't let the mechanic set the shoes too tight. You'll ruin the new rotor and the smell will be something to remember. Happy Holidays.
