Question: What is the clinking/rattling noise when driving car?

It almost sounds like something metal is loose underneath and constantly hitting the ground with a clunk clunk clunk. Nothing is loose/dragging underneath though. It's been a long time and the car seems to drive fine.

    possibly a heat shield on your exhaust. they are just spot welded on and break often

    Agree with global. Heat shields come lose often. If you wish, take to a shop and they will reweld it quickly and at a low cost.
