2004 Volkswagen Beetle Question: what is causing the front end of my Beetle to vibrate when i excelerate?

what should I check first?

    Is the check engine light on? that first , then axles , engine mounts and suspension.

    agree with zip poss axles or misfires,depending on type of vibration

    Yeah, I would look at the inboard CV axle joints first. They tend to come apart without tearing the boot.
