2006 Nissan Sentra Question: What is causing Squealing during turning?

It squeals usually every time I turn the wheel all the way in either direction (left and right). Seems to be getting worse as time goes by. Power steering fluid level was actually a little too high. Could too much fluid cause noise? What else could it be?

Have you checked condition of/changed the belt? Change your belt if you have cracks on the inside or outside of belt, look for vertical and horizontal cracks, change belt if you find either. And yes, too much fluid can be as bad as too little fluid. You can get a "snot bulb for babies"(think its called an aspirator) at $ tree to suck excess fluid out of reservoir but you can't use it on babies after that! Does it need changed? If it smells bad or foul and is brown or black, yes change it. It should be a rich cranberry red color, it will never smell good, but you will know the difference when it smells bad. Hope this helps.
