Everytime I turn the wheel sharply or go over a bump at low speeds, I hear a popping noise. I have replaced the CV axle and the struts. Any ideas?

2004 Nissan Maxima Question: What is causing a "popping" noise?

It could be many things, unfortunately and without hearing the noise first hand or being able to do some basic diagnostic tests or be able to drive the car, its hard to say what the source of the noise may be.Check ball joints, sway bar bushings, upper strut mounts?

Could you suggest what I should tell the dealership to do? I do not have a warranty on this car anymore, and it is getting ridiculously expensive to try every alternative before it is fixed.

1st of all i would not take it to a dealership, there techs hate front end work and will most likely blow it off or try to throw parts at it until they get it right. I would highly recd. to find a shop that specializes in suspension/steering work.
