Question: What is a optispark, what does it do, and where is it

 Rookie

My firebird has a miss, but only in the lower rpm's.
Replaced plugs and wires still has the miss. That's why
I'm asking about a optispark.
Thinks for any help you can give me.

    Opti-spark is the type of distributor the ignition system has. They have a lot of problems with the distributor itself. I recommend you take it to a repair shop for proper diagnosis unless you want to continue and throw parts at it.
