Question: What is a fair price to pay for a transmission rebuild?

 Rookie

I was quoted $2400-$3500 depending on the amount of damage they found when they got into it. The diagnostice code is P1744 (TCC System Performance)

    there estimate sounds right. you could also look into a reman unit from Ford. it will be close to the 3500 and have a 3 yr 50k warranty.
