Question: What happens when my car won't go in reverse or drive?

My car starts, but won't reverse or back up. My car won't drive now.

    Check your transmission fluid level with the gear shift in Park and the engine idling. Fill as needed with the proper fluid, I believe it's Dextron V but look in your manual to make sure and then find the leak and repair it. If the level is ok, then take your car to a good trans shop.
