Shop says timing belt replacement is recommended along with a few other things totaling $945

    If you have the V6 model it is recommended to replace the timing belt in addition to your regular maintenance and major inspection. Recommendations may be made for service as needed. You would expect to pay about $850 parts/labor/tax including: Installation of Timing belt kit with water pump and coolant, intake and cabin air filters, and oil change with multi point inspection.

    i was told by the dealer to replace timing belt at 90,000 or 5 yrs. i have 66,000 mi. on my 2006 solara. the cost is 900.oo and said they also put new bearings. is this correct?
