Question: What does it mean when the voltmeter is reading high?

The volt meter is reading almost to the high red range.

    Some Audis have been known to have faulty gauges causing this concern,but I would have your charging system tested just to be sure your alternator is ok. I've seen these gauges go back to normal after a good smack on the dash!
