2003 Lexus IS300 Question: What does it mean when the front passanger floorboard is warm?It heats up

 Rookie

floorboard heats up when I am driving. my heater core was bypassed so I dont have a heater..Please help!!

    If the heater has been bypassed no hot engine coolant is flowing behind the dash or vents, must be the heat from the exhaust. Exhaust runs right side of the engine runs under passenger floor to rear of car.
